- Jisoo
- Jennie

Early Career
After their debut, BLACKPINK released a series of successful songs and albums as part of the Square series.

In 2018, the group released their first mini album, Square Up, featuring the hit song “DDU-DU DDU-DU.” The song became one of BLACKPINK’s signature tracks and played an important role in expanding their popularity outside South Korea.
Rise to Global Fame
BLACKPINK’s international popularity grew rapidly from the late 2010s.
Songs such as “DDU-DU DDU-DU,” “Kill This Love” and “How You Like That” attracted a large global audience.
In 2019, BLACKPINK became the first K-pop girl group to perform at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. They later returned to Coachella as headliners in 2023.
Their international activities helped establish BLACKPINK as one of the leading groups of the global K-pop movement.
The Album
BLACKPINK released their first full-length studio album, The Album, on October 2, 2020.
The album included “How You Like That,” “Lovesick Girls” and “Ice Cream,” a collaboration with Selena Gomez.
