BTS Draws 853,000 Fans Across 14 Sold-Out Shows on Latin American Tour

K-pop superstars BTS have attracted approximately 853,000 fans across 14 sold-out concerts during the Latin American leg of their ongoing “ARIRANG” world tour, highlighting the group’s enormous popularity across the region.

According to Big Hit Music, BTS performed in five cities across Latin America, beginning in Bogotá, Colombia, on October 2, 2026, and concluding in São Paulo, Brazil, on October 31.

The tour also included performances in Lima, Peru; Santiago, Chile; and Buenos Aires, Argentina. All 14 concerts sold out.

First Full-Group Concerts in Colombia and Argentina

The Latin American tour marked several important milestones for BTS and their fans.

The group held its first full-group concerts in Colombia and Argentina, while its visit to Peru was the first since its debut.

BTS also returned to Chile after nine years and Brazil after seven years, giving fans in both countries an opportunity to see the group perform together again.

The members expressed their appreciation for the enthusiastic reception, saying that the experience had been among their happiest memories and that they hoped to return to the region.

Concerts Bring Economic Benefits to Host Cities

Beyond music, the concerts also generated significant activity for local businesses and tourism industries.

In La Plata, the city near Buenos Aires where the Argentine concerts were held, a survey cited by Big Hit Music found that 96 percent of concertgoers came from outside the city.

More than 48,000 visitors stayed in La Plata for at least one night, with an average stay of three and a half nights. Spending on accommodation, food, transportation and leisure was estimated at approximately 53 billion Argentine pesos, or about 34.5 million USD, excluding ticket purchases.

In Bogotá, flight bookings during the concert period increased by 46.6 percent compared with the same period a year earlier. In Lima, ride-hailing demand reportedly rose to as much as 48 times its usual level after concerts ended.

These figures illustrate how major K-pop tours can influence tourism, transportation and hospitality businesses beyond the entertainment industry.

BTS Continue Their ‘ARIRANG’ World Tour

Following the Latin American leg, BTS are scheduled to continue their world tour in Asia and Australia.

The next performances are scheduled for Kaohsiung, Taiwan, beginning November 19, followed by stops in several other cities, including Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Jakarta.

The tour will also continue to Australia, with performances planned in Melbourne and Sydney in February 2027.

With 853,000 attendees across 14 sold-out Latin American concerts, BTS have once again demonstrated the scale of their international fanbase and the growing economic influence of K-pop events around the world.
